Let’s check the space before the party.

Your garden and access arrangements are as important as your guest count. Use this checklist to prepare an enquiry; the final structure, anchoring and layout need our approval.

  1. Photograph the area

Send views of the garden, surface, nearby buildings, trees and overhead obstructions. Include any slope or uneven ground.

  2. Explain the access

Tell us about gates, narrow paths, steps, parking and the carrying distance from vehicle access to the marquee area.

  3. Identify underground services

Tell us about buried cables, pipes, drains, irrigation and any restrictions on ground anchors. Do not guess their location.

  4. Allow for the full footprint

The canopy dimensions alone are not the required site dimensions. Anchors, ropes, entrances and circulation need space; we confirm the footprint.

  5. Agree power and weather plans

Discuss lighting and safe power access. Sidewall and weather arrangements are agreed for your event; no marquee makes every weather condition suitable.

Explore layout planning

Allow space beyond the canopy.

Plan for guy lines, stakes, centre poles and clear walking routes. Share photographs of the lawn and access, plus known underground or overhead services. We confirm the securing method for your particular site.
